Hi there,
There’s something I would like you to know about "The White Castle." First, I didn’t set out to write a book, I’m an artist, my specialty is oil painting, specifically equestrian work. I’m not an English major, nor aspired to be an author - this is a foreign world to me. However, the truth of the matter is, as I slept one night the title of a book came to mind. I woke up with it firmly planted in my head. You may or may not believe in God, but I do, so I asked Him, "What’s this?" He responded, "In the morning when you’ve finished with your work sit down at the computer."
The next morning I recalled the incident and did exactly what He asked. Once at the computer I didn’t know what to write, He simply said, "Start typing" and so I did. Words, sentences and ideas filled my thoughts as I worked. I literally did not know what I was typing from one day to the next. Often He would wake me around 4:30 a.m. to start writing until this book emerged. I’m still not sure why I was to write it. I pray that it will make you smile, make you laugh, make you cry, but most of all that God uses it to touch your heart. And if you’re not a believer that’s okay, you might enjoy it anyway.
